With Ben unavailable, Robinson and a debut for Dave gives CBFC 3 subs. With the previous match still fresh in the minds, this match against the team in second proved a reality check to some of the Cillit Bang FC players, the damage was done before half time.
In the early stages, Cillit Bang FC could not get out of their own half but kept the opponent out of any decent opportunity. The first goal was going to have to be something different, unfortunately the goal conceded was scored from around the defensive position of Wrench and M. Stroud saw the shot too late.
Just 10's passing and their creation of opportunities was far superior as was the case with their next 2 goals, as the subs came on the shape of the team kept changing with players not playing in their more well suited positions. When a good move and shooting chance was created, the shot was straight at the opposition goalkeeper.
Dave showed a great bit of skill to turn the defender and cut inside, his connection to the shot disappointing.
With a long period of time without the ball out of play Cillit Bang had 3 substitutions, hoping for some fresh impetus it was the opposite as 2 quick goals were conceded, M. Stroud would be disappointed with the second. Mike and B. Stroud immediately went close however one was lacking shot power and the other accuracy. Mike made a fantastic track back to breakdown the immediate counter attack.
Lambon in his forward position evaded the defenders tackle his attempt at the keeper. Not soon after he and B. Stroud connected with speed and precision down the left wing to create the best chance of the half, the outcome was the same, Lambon perhaps disappointed not to extend his goalscoring run.
B. Stroud in tight space managed to nutmeg the dominating centre half of Just 10, this time the shot was dragged agonisingly wide. Mike again going close.
After good imposing play saw Cillit Bang FC compete in the match, Just 10 cut through Lucho and Lambon with a long ball from the goalkeeper requiring a simple slide the ball into far post. This saw the CBFC defence push back as some attacks were soaked up, Mike broke on the counter, his unwillingness to let rip with his left foot cost him a good chance at a goal.
The half ended on a bad note as CBFC's whole defence got sucked into a pass and move, in which the attacker had all the time in the world to pick his spot.

Goal 1-7 [Dave] A good start to the half as on his debut Dave is quick to take advantage of the defender's slip turn him and smash in the first goal.
Goal 2-7 [B. Stroud] Pressure from Lambon and Robinson forces the winger to make a mistake, Robinson hits a diagonal through ball to B. Stroud who has the simple task to set himself and score.
It was fortunate that the 2 goal start was not ruined after M. Stroud's throws a bad pass straight to the opposing player just outside his box, the finish and Lambon's block covering the cracks. Play was evening out, B. Stroud went close a few times, M. Stroud made some great saves.
Lucho found himself in an excellent position with the goal begging, his shot hitting the post. A kick in the teeth when 5 seconds after the forward player managed to flick the ball up and volley it in to show CBFC how to finish. Straight from kick-off Lucho sets up Wrench who when he managed to find the goal, he found the keeper.
A spell of pressure from Just 10 followed with shot after shot, the shooting of poor quality. Wrench was put through by Lucho his shot past the keeper but the goal aswell. Lucho again picked a great pass to find Mike, his shot blocked by the keeper but his finish was sublime... confused??? Well that is because he ran straight back to defending and attempting to pass back to M. Stroud he scored his 2nd own goal in 3 games. Not what he wanted but a Cillit Bang FC first of two brothers scoring in the same match.
Immediately after B. Stroud was free on the edge of the area and his shot was of high class... in a game of rugby that is. Wrench set-up twice by Dave, shots were blocked by the keeper again, not his day along with his poor quick free kick.
Dave and Lucho were doing a fine job in defence with minimal chances created from Just 10. Dave's shot from the inside the opposing half managing to force a good save from the goalkeeper.
M. Stroud made another fine save to keep the score as it was.
Goal 3-9 [B. Stroud] When a free kick came Cillit Bang FC's way, Dave picked out B. Stroud with a great cross field pass, Same position as his first, same outcome.
