Previous Results: Played 2 Won 1 Drawn 1 - Closely fought games in the previous season, the draw being one of the season's best in a cracking end to the game that could have gone either way.
First Half
After the previous game of drivel and a poor showing in front of goal, things looked brighter this game with a bunch of goals scored with a handful of shots. Kermit and Rizzo combined on a kick in working the goalkeeper on a hard low shot. Rizzo hit the post after a good corner from A. Muppet finds him at the back post, A. Muppet's follow up shot is skied after immediate pressure from the defender. Jabalani's Legacy had a few attempts having had played calmly as usual in their build up play and could find themselves a bit unlucky to go behind with yet another couple of goals within the first quarter of the match.
Goal 1-0 // 14 Kermit - Assist 12 Rizzo
After catching the ball from the kick in Fozzie releases Big Bird immediately, an exchange of passes later with Rizzo, Beaker and Kermit Big Bird has the ball again. Chipping the ball for the run of his teammate, Rizzo performs a cruyff turn giving him the room to fire a ball into the box, Kermit is at the front post to deflect the ball into the net. A similar cross and move within the first few minutes to his 100th goal last season against the same opponents.

After Jabalani's Legacy worked the ball around the pitch an unfortunate pass conceded a kick in. Gonzo was there to launch the ball into the box of which Rizzo had placed the header back across goal to put him back on top of the goals scored with headers chart.
Goal 3-0 // 8 Big Bird - Assist 17 Swedish Chef
Goal kick sent long for Big Bird, just on as a sub he flicks the ball in field to keep the ball in play. Swedish Chef coming in to try and pass it back falls from an attempted header leaving little pace on the ball with the foot pass. Big Bird is in position to halt any counter attack by blocking the ball. Back up Chef races to the ball first covering the ball from the goalkeeper leaving Big Bird with a neat chip into the top corner for his first goal of the season as he celebrates for the camera.
As well as scoring his goal Big Bird was enjoying his time in a forward role, holding the ball up from goalkicks or kick ins as a target man, he showed good skill turning a defender to have a fierce half volley turned away from goal. Jabalani's Legacy missed out after a shot across goal was slightly too far forward for the striker to dive and turn it into the goal. Having a three goal lead helped ease the pressure and especially papered over the cracks when blatant goalscoring chances were scuppered. Kermit had tackled back from a corner to read the opposing corner breaking in one movement, having passed across to Chef, he passed to Big Bird. Trying to dink the ball into the net he miss hits the ball letting the keeper and lone defender off who had put in decent pressure on a three on one situation, Big Bird had only needed to slip in Kermit across the box for a tap in.

A well worked goal with one touch football from the kick in, the scorer allowing the ball to roll through his leg turning Gonzo before slotting the ball past Fozzie.
Second Half
The first opportunity to get the ball in the box was taken by Beaker, Rizzo's header is off target but coming in on the blindside is Gonzo who at a small angle manages to divert the ball onto the post.
More pressure came and chances were falling for Big Bird, Rizzo's ball deep to Kermit was neatly cushioned for Big Bird who volleyed across goal and wide. Moments later an even better chance appeared, after Rizzo found himself one on one with the keeper in the box the save rebounded back to Rizzo, slipping the ball across the box to Big Bird he sliced the shot off target. Jabalani's Legacy were struggling to keep hold of possession in this period, and the CBFC shooting was not up to standard as after a quick breakup of play Gonzo feeds in Rizzo first time who shoots wayward. A lot of the chances were fairly direct from goal kicks as nine shots on goal were racked up within the first four minutes, Big Bird who could have four or five goals tried a chip that had too much power on it.
Rizzo shut out a cross from a good Jabalani move, breaking forward he found his teammate Swedish Chef free in the centre of the park, a well worked one two with Kermit put Chef clean through, he should have scored but took the shot too fast. Fozzie had little to do and when the opponents got their chance they did not work the goal. Beaker added himself to the list of shots the keeper dealt with, Chef got put through after Oscar won a header but his chip beat the keeper but it wasn't on target either. Rizzo did well to read a goalkick but after breaking through he fired over in a match where most players struggled to find the target, Rizzo also turned a defender from his own goalkick and this time just could not wrap his foot around the ball enough.
With a couple of minutes left on the clock, Fozzie made his first save of the match after Jabalani's Legacy broke on a counter attack, A. Muppet and Swedish Chef came unlucky trying a triangular passing move in the corner area.
Penalty to Cillit Bang FC
After breaking Kermit earns a corner taking it quickly to Rizzo, he passes to the far post for Oscar to be the last CBFC player to have a shot that gets blocked on the line. Rizzo follows up only to have his attempt blocked, as the defender on the line is on the floor the ball hits his hand to concede the penalty.
