Team News: With Swedish Chef facing a long term layoff after suffering that knee injury in the previous game, Rizzo was back with Hoss in the lineup once again. Oscar still out with a foot injury, A. Muppet unavailable.
Previous Results: Played 5 Won 3 Lost 2 - A 9-2 thrashing provided an entertaining game with a variety of great goals.
First Half
With a few tame shots from either side CBFC boosted the better possession chances in the opening to the game against a more athletic looking Poole side.
Goal 0-1 // AFC Poole Mark II
The scorer was allowed to easily run towards the near post poking the ball into the net with not a blue shirt in site.
Immediately after going behind attacks were built, on one of them Gonzo's shot was hit well but lacked the direction needed to score. Hoss moving into the box off the corner was found with a driven cross from Rizzo, his contact on the ball was unlucky to come back off the goalkeeper's face. Despite quite a few attempts the keeper was not troubled too much.

Defending since they opened the scoring threatening a little on counter attacks a screamer from the striker doubled the lead. Gonzo's careless pass in the middle of the pitch put the striker one on one with Big Bird, the tackle evaded a long range shot into the top of the net gave Fozzie little chance to react.
The opposition had taken their chances and were not far off the next. A lofted ball from the defence was controlled excellently by the striker flicking the ball up before volleying the ball against the crossbar. Rizzo should have responded, Big Bird heading the ball square into space the left foot shot option was not taken over the outside of the right boot, the curve on the ball taking the ball outside the far post.
Second Half
Great work from Rizzo from the centre of the pitch down into the opposition corner flag providing Big Bird with the chance, in a tight space by the time Big Bird had cleared the defenders the keeper was there to block his shot on goal.

Promptly winning the ball back as they had done well in the first half Rizzo bravely put his head onto the ball with the opponents high right foot looming. Kermit sent the ball wide to Beaker, receiving the ball back Kermit took 2 attempts to flick the ball to Big Bird for a first time finish.
Bringing back a couple of players from the old AFC Poole had made the side a better match however CBFC largely dominated the possession and could not keep the ball long enough to return some pressure. Hoss picked out Gonzo out wide enabling Big Bird to set himself on the edge of the area leaving himself time to control the ball, the strongly struck volley just over. Again the ball came straight back with Gonzo dribbling his way through 47 players, a shame his shot power had ran out of juice.
Goal 2-2 // Hoss
Largely down to Hoss most of the play started through him winning ball after ball and so it was a two on one attack which was thwarted by Hoss where the equaliser came about. Blocking the cross and with space to run into, dragging the ball onto his right neither defenders nor keeper put up much resistance.
Poole having lost a two goal lead failed to punish a free header on a corner and a one on one, Fozzie's stop was excellent, Kermit's block on the follow up just as important.

With Hoss off the pitch the goal had been coming since the equaliser Poole found their way back into the lead, with the striker again scoring from distance this time into the bottom corner.
Rizzo tested the keeper from range but with a quick goal kick CBFC were exposed, the Poole player wasted such a chance to double the lead with just Fozzie to beat his teammates had their heads in their hands. Funnily enough Rizzo wasted a similar chance with just the keeper to beat the target was missed.
Goal 3-3 // Hoss - Assist 8 Big Bird
Approaching 28 minutes and running out of time Kermit brought the ball forward feeding the ball to Big Bird. Shielding off the defender the ball was slowed up to Hoss, a lovely pass into the bottom corner had looked like a point was saved at the death.
Goal 4-3 // Hoss - Assist 12 Rizzo
Facing a last minute set piece lobbed into the box Fozzie held onto the ball rolling it straight out to Rizzo. Hoss making himself available on the right wing receives the pass wraps his foot around the ball to score the winner in off the post in a similar position to the equaliser.
