League New Boys Soak Diminished CBFC
Team News: Swedish Chef out with knee injury, Oscar out with foot injury, Rizzo and Big Bird both unavailable, Hoss not making another appearance for quite some time. A. Muppet was back along with reinforcements - Nick M and Jason

First Half
A new team to the league were taking on virtually half a CBFC side. Norfolk hit the woodwork twice in the opening 10 minutes with Kermit the closest to scoring off the rebound from the keeper's previous save. With plenty of rain possession was to and fro but neither side got into any real rhythm under less than favourable conditions.
Goal 0-1 // Norfolk & Chance
Pouncing upon CBFC the side nicked the ball on the halfway line before feeding in the forward player to score into the top of the net at the end of the half.
Second Half
Goal 1-1 // Nick - Assist 14 Kermit
Having gone close off kick off upon kick off Norfolk lost the lead. Kermit combining with Beaker and then Nick his shot was saved. Falling for Nick he got his shot away quickly, with the shot going wide a deflection brought the ball direction back inside the post.
Goal 1-2 // Norfolk & Chance
From kick off the task to create a chance was too easy, combined with a shot back across goal it was hard to stop.
A multitude of shots were blocked at closed range by Fozzie, Kermit and Gonzo when it looked certain for further goals to trouble the net.
Goal 1-3 // Norfolk & Chance
The good work undone, under pressure in their own corner the ball was worked downfield a little fortunately with a free man at the back post to head in.
Goal 2-3 // 5 Gonzo - Assist Nick
For the second time in Norfolk's half with the ball CBFC came away with the goal. Nick's kick in was headed neatly back across goal by Gonzo, gave the keeper no chance.
Goal 2-4 // Norfolk & Chance
Fozzie's goalkick, whether from the wind, failed to emerge from the CBFC half. Norfolk players combined well to score yet again immediately after conceding.
The result was not going to change, that much was apparent, neither side wanted to score the next with Norfolk suddenly becoming over elaborate wasting an abundance of chances. CBFC were giving possession away cheaply and struggled to muster a decent attack in the diabolical weather which did not help their cause.

Sloppy play again and this time Norfolk had the simple chance of slotting the ball in the net, no frills.
Fozzie's clearance under pressure was blocked, luckily for him the ball went wide. Fozzie made a fantastic diving save moments later on pushing the ball with the outstretched hand onto the post. Beaker forced the keeper into a save on the final whistle but that was sadly as good as it got.
