A welcome healthy team appeared after the hardships the previous week. Gotze after missing some great chances dragging the ball wide a couple times was gifted a misguided goal kick straight after his best chance. Wasting no time he dispatched the shot into the top corner. Ferndown replied in the same half after bossing possession.
Neither side could really muster anything decent in front of goal in search of a winner. The later the game dragged on the harder CBFC worked in shutting down Ferndown. Their keeper switching was a problem affecting their team play, they struggling to break through as per the recent cup match. CBFC had more chances to score a second, better finesse would have seen them win. Ferndown squandered a glorious chance with the final kick of the ball but the awkward bounce just before made the shot difficult.
