Having played TDFC over many seasons now, the side went behind first to another TDFC well taken goal - a first time shot. With points proving important for both sides sitting at the bottom of the table TDFC could and should have been sitting pretty on a two goal cushion. Daddy's double save was good yet the TDFC player sliced the ball past the post on the third try. Gundogan however did not miss a similar chance benefiting from being so close to the goalkeeper when the ball was lofted into the box, the keeper having a tough task with no room to think parried the ball, Gundogan knocked in the rebound. Gotze then turned provider with his behind the defence run setting up a simple tap in to Schieber.
Enjoying the luxury of a couple of subs the sides shape was lost midway through the half with two attacks in a minute costing the side the lead. All out attack after the scores were levelled proved a killer. Twice Reus, all on his own at the back had it all to do in denying both goals. Despite the troubled times Gundogan's retaken free kick at the death was sent to Gotze free at the back post to scoop the ball into the net for a point.
