Ferndown broke into a strong lead well before half time, a nice slice of luck along including an unfortunate own goal from Schieber. His toe on the ball to block the cross diverted the ball past Daddy whom had already committed to the cross. A bizarre 5th goal came when 2 Ferndown players ended up 2 on 1 against Daddy. The sliced 1-2 pass to the teammate had resulted in the backspin taking its path around Daddy. 5 goals from 3 goalscoring shots.
CBFC enjoyed a far more open second half however goals were hard to come by. Two second half minutes was all Marc had before his foreseen injury, the pulled calf ending a promising debut. Lewandowski scored a neat goal with Subotic the provider. Better team play from AFC Ferndown saw them stroll the match as the showboating was pulled out late on.
